Behavior Therapy & Behavior Assistance:
Behavior therapy service utilizes strategies based on the science of applied behavior analysis to improve an individual’s socially significant behaviors. Services are rendered only by credentialed therapists (BCBAs and BCaBAs) or Behavior Assistants all under the supervision of a BCBA. The Behavior analyst implements therapy in both the home and community environments. At the onset of treatment, the therapist develops a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) to identify the functional variables at work, and specifies the appropriate level of service needed for the recipient. After the assessment, the Analyst will then develop and implement a behavior plan to address the behavioral challenges of the recipient.
